Before you go
- Dangerous trail. Do not enter.
- Caution, the route is very dangerous at one point where the narrow path (not more than 50cm wide) crosses a sheer rock face, with a drop of more than twenty metres on one side. It is a very easy passage but also very dangerous, absolutely not recommended for people with vertigo. Nor is it advisable to take children. Wet, rainy days are best avoided, due to the increased danger of this section and possible rock falls caused by the rain.
- The route is circular and returns to the departure point.
- Any time of year provided the ground is dry.
- Walk very slowly along the canal, paying constant attention to correct foot placement. Do not run or speed up the pace. The dangerous section is so narrow that the placing of a protective handrail is unfeasable, due to lack of space. Carry a torch for the tunnels, although not strictly necessary. Abundant water is available along the way.
