Before you go
- Due to the declaration of an alert status for rainfall, the section of the trail between the camping area and the La Viña parking lot (in the Barranco de las Angustias) will be closed until further notice.
- A very long, demanding route if done in its entirety. Starting from Los Brecitos makes it feasible for anyone. The descent along the Barranco de las Angustias ravine is rough going at times, over pebbles and loose stones, with no trace of a path. With water flowing in the stream bed, progress is tricky or even impossible. National Park personnel can supply specific details of these and other difficulties.
- All year round.
- This path has been conceived starting and finishing in Los Llanos de Aridane. Nevertheless, most hikers only do part of it, coinciding with some of the routes proposed by the National Park.
