Before you go
- The distance covered, and the height-difference involved make it a physically demanding route.
- After heavy rain, take care on the steepest sections and below cliffs: there may be damage to the trail.
- By road, with a private vehicle or taxi.
- All year round. Beware of snow in winter and spring at altitudes above 2,000m, as the path becomes impracticable and dangerous in such conditions.
- The route is usually walked downhill, although there is nothing to prevent doing it uphill. No water is available anywhere on the route. In the high zone it coincides with the PR LP 7.
- Protected area: Parque Natural de Las Nieves
