- This path links the Laguna de Barlovento reservoir with the Visitor Centre and in fact, this is the route which is normally done. To make the Path Network more coherent, this PR connects to the GR 130 in Las Cabezadas. If opting for driving straight to La Laguna, the hike takes 45 minutes less. A common alternative is to climb up to the reservoir from the village centre of Barlovento, following the PR LP 8 path for about 30 minutes. Another well-frequented hike is from the Visitor Centre up to the Mirador de las Barandas viewpoint, returning the same way.
